EDAB’s 2005 Board of Director's Retreat

Dublin Mayor, Janet Lockhart, welcomed the more than 60 EDAB members who participated in Annual Board of Director's Retreat.

The work session began with the expectations of attendees led by Alameda County Supervisor, and EDAB Chair, Keith Carson. (above)

Executive Director Bruce Kern reported on on EDAB's Work Plan and Accomplishments and Mike Brown, EDAB 2nd Vice Chair, and Chair of the Real Estate Group, Morgan Miller Blair, led a discussion on EDAB’s priorities.

Dr. Chris Thornberg, Senior Economist with the UCLA Anderson Forecast, provided a current economic outlook for the East Bay.  His PowerPoint presentation for this speech has been converted to pdf format,  and can be viewed by clicking here .

 

 

Jim Wunderman, President and CEO of the Bay Area Council, the leading advocate representing business interests in the Bay Area, reported on some of the public policy initiatives and critical infrastructure issues facing the Bay Area and California.

EDAB's Board members enjoyed the spacious and very comfortable facility at Dublin Ranch.
