What is it?

The first-ever East Bay Innovation Awards celebrated the cutting-edge innovators in business that make the East Bay one of the preeminent regions of innovation in the U.S.

The East Bay Economic Development Alliance along with the SF Business Times and several partners kicked off the inaugural event to celebrate and award those companies that most contribute to the East Bay's culture of innovation. The Awards will produce a prestigious cohort of award recipients each year and will also make a special effort to recognize the up-and-coming innovators who will have opportunities to be leaders in the East Bay in future years.

Over 350 business and community leaders enjoyed a gala event at the Fox Theater in Oakland on January 31, 2013 to announce the winners. The East Bay EDA and our partners are proud to recognize the following winners for their impact on the East Bay:
