Traffic of full import containers traveling through the Port of Oakland decreased 1.2 percent between November 2008 and November 2009, while full exports increased 39.7 percent. Empty container imports increased 28 percent and empty exports decreased 3.4 percent.
At Oakland International Airport, ridership increased slightly (up 1.8 percent) between November 2008 and November 2009. Traffic through San Francisco International increased 8.3 percent annually, and at San Jose Mineta Airport traffic decreased 4.2 percent during the same period.
